Lindsay Ellis is a science fiction author and video essayist who creates humorous educational YouTube content about media, narrative and film theory. After earning her bachelor’s in Cinema Studies from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, she got her MFA in Film and Television Production from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts. In addition to her own YouTube channel, she co-writes and hosts the fiction-focused YouTube series “It’s Lit!” for PBS Digital Studios.
