DDG became Youtube's first cross-over mainstream hip hop artist when he signed a joint venture with Epic Records in 2018. Since then he has earned an RIAA certified gold record for his song "Arguments", has over 250 million audio streams on his music and has worked with some of the industry's top artists. He has continued his career on Youtube at the same time and has grown his main Youtube channel to over 3.5 million subscribers, and watched his family become the "first family of Black Youtube". DDG recently founded ZOOTED Ent which is dedicated to finding, growing, and developing diverse creators from around the nation.
