As CEO of Collab Asia, Eugene Choi leads the company’s efforts in producing solutions for content creators, media platforms, and top brands in today’s rapidly developing digital ecosystem. With over 17 years of experience in the media industry, he was previously SVP of Business Development at Collab Inc. before raising venture capital funding to spin-off the Asia division in 2017. Collab Asia, Inc. has since become a leading digital media company and influencer network with operations in Seoul, Tokyo, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Manila, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Shenzhen, and Los Angeles.

Eugene began his career at advertising agency Carat USA (Dentsu Aegis Network) where he supported media planning efforts for Hyundai and Kia. He then joined entertainment marketing agency EMP and was instrumental in its subsequent acquisition by Ketchum — an Omnicom Group company. Eugene later worked as a senior analyst in the Strategy and Planning group at CJ America, the US-based subsidiary of a Korean conglomerate, and also consulted for Fuji Television, a major TV network in Japan. He has also produced two digital web series with Electus as part of YouTube's Original Channels initiative (K-Town and Roll Models) and also a documentary TV series with Arirang TV (Aka Dan).

Eugene has an MBA (International Business) from the USC Marshall School of Business and a BA (Mass Communications) from UC Berkeley.
