James Williams is the Executive Director of Digital Strategy at PBS NewsHour, where he oversees content and distribution across PBS NewsHour’s many digital outlets. James focuses on innovative journalism and platform-intentional reporting, with an emphasis on the user experience. Prior to PBS NewsHour, James served as VP of Digital Video at National Geographic and held several roles in digital with Discovery Communications and Discovery Digital Networks, developing and executing new short form video content with a focus on data and audience metrics.
